Many blog owners run ad units of some description to help generate blogging income. There are so many different ways to generate this income and so many different ad units that can be used. One Blog plugin that can help manage your ad units is the Adsense Manager for WordPress.

An indirect route to generating income could also be installing plugins like KeywordLuv and CommentLuv, which should bring in some traffic from other sites. Not in 100% of the cases, but in some cases it could gain some faithful readers who can only add to the popularity and revenue of the blog.
